Delete in the app or on the website
- Sign in to your account.
- Open Dashboard → Profile.
- Scroll to Delete account, confirm by typing DELETE (and your password, if your account has one), then tap Permanently delete.
Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
Business owners can delete their account too. Because it affects your listings, the flow shows you which listings are affected and asks you to re-type your own login ID instead of DELETE.
Deleting releases your listings rather than removing them: each listing stays in the directory with its reviews, photos, and ratings, because that content belongs to the community — but you lose all access to manage it, and it becomes available for someone else to claim. If you would rather hand the business to a new owner, use Message LocallyBot team on the same screen; our admins can transfer the listing and keep it managed.
Can’t sign in? Request deletion by email
Email admin@huddlestack.com from the email address associated with your account with the subject “Account deletion request”. We will verify ownership and complete the deletion within 15 days, then confirm by reply.
What is deleted, and what is kept
Deleted: your name, email, phone number, profile photo, sign-in credentials (password and Google/Apple links), saved businesses and coupons, notification settings, push registrations, and preferences.
Kept (anonymized):reviews, messages, and orders you posted remain for the businesses and users you interacted with, but are re-attributed to “Deleted User” with no personal data attached. Records we must retain for legal, safety, or fraud-prevention reasons are kept only as long as the law requires.
Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on the normal backup rotation, within 30 days. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
